The Netze Duisburg GmbH is the local distribution network operator for Duisburg and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stadtwerke Duisburg AG. The company’s core tasks include the planning, operation, expansion, and maintenance of approximately 9,100 kilometers of supply networks for electricity, gas, water, and district heating. Nearly 500 employees work to secure and expand high-performance networks in the Duisburg area. Around the clock, we ensure that our customers are supplied with electricity, gas, water, and district heating safely and without disruptions. The network, approximately 9,100 kilometers in length, is available to all customers without discrimination.
Since 2014, we have been accompanying the company’s journey as a service provider, supporting Netze Duisburg in automating business processes with customized solutions based on SharePoint.
Before implementing a software solution, extensive preparatory work was required – especially capturing the requirements of various departments and subject areas involved in the process in multiple workshops and consolidating them into a concept.
